My project report will be about my First Aid Aware project I am working on. First Aid Aware is an organisation that offers first aid training to people in the private, public or voluntary sector in Ireland. They are currently trying to bring their training into primary schools and I am designing a flashcard story game to help them to teach young kids basic first aid skills. I believe children can be taught alot through games as its a fun way to learn and an effective method of teaching. While researching a few articles for my dissertation I came across an interesting journal which will be quite useful to me when I start my report. The name of this journal is 'The Games Journal, A magazine About Boardgames' and the title of the piece is 'Educational Value of Games' by the author Mark Bordsen, October 2002.
